The IDIL team attends the Erasmus Students Network Montpellier (ESN) Welcome Day

Last week, the IDIL team was pleased to participate in the Welcome Day organized byESN Montpellier (Erasmus Student Network). This event was a wonderful opportunity to meet the new wave of international students who had just arrived in our city for their exchange semester in January.

Promoting Academic Excellence in English

Our participation in this orientation day was strategic, aimed at promoting the university’s growing selection of programs taught in English. By highlighting the IDIL graduate program and the CHARM-EU alliance, we were able to explain to students currently participating in the Erasmus exchange program that it is entirely possible to extend their experience in Montpellier by enrolling in a master’s program taught entirely in English.

A springboard for future researchers and professionals

Through direct conversations at our booth, we emphasized that transitioning from a semester-long exchange program to a full-fledged master’s degree is entirely possible. Whether through the interdisciplinary approach and laboratory immersion offered by IDIL or through CHARM-EU’s innovative European approach, the options for continuing one’s studies in Montpellier without language barriers are now a concrete reality.

It was a real pleasure to discuss academic projects and future plans with such a diverse and enthusiastic group of students.
