Launch of the IDIL 2025 Mirror Doctoral Contracts Campaign
The IDIL graduate program at the University of Montpellier is pleased to announce the launch of its new call for proposals for six multidisciplinary paired doctoral projects, representing 12 funded doctoral positions.
🔍 What is a “mirror” doctoral project?
A “mirror” project brings together two complementary doctoral dissertations within a shared multidisciplinary framework. Each dissertation is co-supervised by advisors from different disciplines, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration around the central themes: Feed, Care, Protect.
🔬 Who can apply?
Applications are open to faculty members holding an HDR and to researchers interested in interdisciplinary collaboration and collaboration with doctoral schools.

- Campaign launch: December 9, 2024
- Deadline for project submissions: February 9, 2025
- Announcement of results: mid-March 2025
- Start of thesis work: October 2025
