TU : Fundamentals of Sustainable Management
The non-core course “Fundamentals of Sustainable Management” is designed for non-specialist IDIL students to introduce them to the major managerial challenges of sustainable development ♻️
How can companies reconcile the sometimes conflicting expectations of stakeholders such as employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, government agencies, and local communities? How can they successfully integrate the economic, social, and environmental pillars of sustainable development?
Throughout this unit, IDIL students analyze key topics such as sustainable performance and reporting (CSRD), strategic and operational challenges, environmental imperatives, and social responsibility. The goal is not only to understand these topics, but also to debate, argue, and defend their vision of a sustainable business 🔀
This unit is led by Jean-Marie Courrent and Géraldine Rivière-Giordano, who are in charge of the “Management & Sustainable Transition” track in the master’s program. A big thank you to them for their dedication and enthusiasm ✅
